Misty Kirkland

Varsity

Coach Misty Kirkland is entering her 3rd full year of teaching and her 3rd year of coaching high school cheer. This will be her first year as head coach and she cannot be more excited for a great year! She cheered all throughout school and competitively at Spirit of Texas for 11 years. She was born and raised in Arlington and went to college at the University of Arkansas. Woo Pig Sooie! She lived in Arkansas for 9 years and returned to the area to be closer to her family. Coach Kirkland has two golden retrievers named Paisley and Piper and loves taking them anywhere she can. In her free time, she enjoys exploring country back roads, hanging out with friends, hiking, and looking at cows.

VIVIENNE KNIGHT

JUNIOR VARSITY

Coach Vivienne Knight brings 21 years of teaching experience to her role and is excited to begin her first year as the Junior Varsity Cheer Coach. A proud graduate of Texas A&M University, Coach Knight is passionate about education and school spirit. When she’s not teaching Algebra or leading the cheer team, she enjoys watching the latest true crime documentaries. Her coaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that “you play how you practice”—emphasizing consistent effort, discipline, and dedication in every situation.

FELICIA BRICE

FRESHMAN

Coach Felicia Brice is a proud graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in History with an emphasis in Geography and Spanish. She is entering her seventh year in education, her third year of coaching, and her first year leading the Freshman Cheerleading team. Prior to this role, Coach Brice served as an Assistant Football Coach at a middle school in Fort Worth. Her coaching philosophy emphasizes accountability, teamwork, and a positive attitude—both on and off the field.
