Friday Night Lights well, and some Thursday Night Lights are HERE! We are super excited for this coming season! Let’s talk meals for the varsity squad.
Traditionally, 2-3 parents take turns to provide the meals for the cheerleaders at half time. Last year we encountered some obstacles in terms of allergies, some not wanting a meal, etc. This year, we have proposed a different option.
We have put together a calendar of meal options per week. Each cheerleader can participate or not for the individual week. The charge will be $5 per meal and must be paid up front to the booster club for the entire season. The booster club has generously agreed to pay the difference per meal for each cheerleader who opts in.
Most meals include a side and/or dessert. The meals will be ordered according to your selection and will be at the bus for the cheerleaders before they depart from Martin. Drinks are NOT provided. Extra waters will be available for your cheerleader on the sideline per usual.
Below you will find the schedule of meals. The payment option will be on the Martin Cheer website for you to pay accordingly. Payment for all meals must be done by NEXT TUESDAY, August 30 to participate for the season. Please understand that absolutely NO extra meals will be ordered or purchased. Only if you opt in for the week will your cheerleader receive a meal. There will not be an opportunity for add-ons or cancelations as all orders will be placed ahead of time.
We apologize for the rush for this first week as the logistics for approval and disseminating the information took a little extra time. However, we need to know TODAY who is in and what type of pizza your cheerleader would like to get the order in and on time for tomorrow’s game.
